NEWS UPDATE: Public comments sought on historic outdoor ovens
The Department of Parks and Recreation is seeking public comment on the nominations of the following sites to the National and Guam Register of Historic Places:
Adacao quarry site;
Jinapsan outdoor oven in Yigo;
Cruz outdoor oven in Barrigada;
Won Pat outdoor oven in Sinajana;
Flores outdoor oven in Agana Heights;
Quan outdoor oven in Piti;
Baza outdoor oven in Yona;
Chaco outdoor oven in Agat;
and Paulino outdoor oven in Inarajan.
Oral and written comments will be accepted until 5 p.m. Sept. 23.
A copy of nominations is available for review at the department’s Guam Historic Resources Division Office in Agana Heights.
