Guam - With the Senate expected to begin discussions on the 2011 National Defense Authorization Act in the coming weeks, there's a push for island residents to sign an online petition to ensure Guam finally receives war reparations. The Guam World War II Loyalty Recognition Act has been included in the measure, but some senators may try to have it removed from the final version.

Hoping to send a message for the inclusion of war reparations, more than 200 signatures have been gathered for the petition so far. Residents are being urged to sign the petition to congress located onGuamWarSurvivorStory.com, launched by Senator Frank Blas, Jr.
